The campaign demilitarized Education includes more than forty entities related to the promotion of peace and education.
The main objective of the campaign is to denounce the growing presence of the army in areas of education, both formal and informal and formal.
Several entities related to the promotion of peace and education have created demilitarized Education Campaign with the aim of preventing the presence of military institutions and values in educational spaces.
Under the slogan “Guns do not educate, guns kill” we express our disagreement with the progressive militarization of certain public spaces.
The conviction that the mission of the institutions and educators is the promotion of culture, science and the values of coexistence and diversity, we believe that education and army are clearly antagonistic concepts.
What educational values transmitted armies? What are the real interests behind its functions “humanitarian and charity”? 
What is education for citizenship, promoted a culture of defense, backed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence?
We wonder whether the measures adopted are consistent with political educational values of peace and nonviolence Catalan government in which Education for Peace and Co-education are key elements within the educational curricula.
We educate without violence!
